Saturday the 22^nd:  VillanovaUniversity Service Day.

In response to Fr. Donahue’s call to a Day-of-Service, we are investigating opportunities for a service day at either a soup kitchen or food bank, preferably in BucksCounty, or otherwise in Philadelphia or Trenton.  We will be working with the Archdiocese and local community groups to identify an appropriate site.  The date for this event will be on the University’s Service Day of Saturday, September 22, 2007.  The Chapter will also be arranging for tickets to watch Wildcat Football as Villanova takes on Penn at home on the evening of September 22^nd.

October 4^th: Coaches’ Night.

Get the update on the men's and women's 2007-2008 basketball teams!  Alumni and friends are invited to join members of the Villanova men's and women's coaching staff and special University guests for an evening of great food and drinks as the excitement builds for a sensational basketball season.  Date:  Oct. 4, 2007.  Location: Union League of Philadelphia, 140 S. Mid-Late October:  Pumpkin Patch and Hay Rides.

We are planning a Villanova Day at a local pumpkin patch, featuring hay rides and other activities for kids and grown-ups alike.  This family oriented event will occur on a Saturday afternoon in October.  More details to follow.  We are looking into several BucksCounty locations.  If you have any recommendations, please share!
